No, we’re not going back to Costa Rica, not just yet, though some day we will. It’s just that it’s been nearly a month since we left for our trip to Costa Rica and I’m finally getting back to writing about it.
Buck and I arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica about three weeks ago for a ten day trip. It wasn’t much of an extravagance: all of the airfare was covered by our frequent flyer miles, and the lodging and food in Costa Rica is much less expensive than in the U.S.
When we arrived in San Jose, we were picked up by a shuttle and taken to a car rental agency, where we got into the SUV we’d rented. From there it was a relatively short drive to the small town of Angeles Sur, north of San Ramone in the canton of Alajuela. We’d also rented a GPS device, which worked great, except I first had been told that the town was Los Angeles Sur, but the nice GPS lady insists that it’s really Angeles Sur, sans Los.
