Courtesy is necessary if we want a debate to be meaningful. It doesn’t seem like too much to ask for civility. We are expressing our opinions and feelings, not staging a battle.

However tongue in cheek this is, dear sis, and I do adore you, I am only allowing this to be posted because it is a great (though extreme) example of what we will block — as are the comments you have referred to. But you get a pass this time because it’s Sunday. From here on out, no free passes for anyone, only respectful, considered responses to blog posts.
